AiGEV 2022
CENTRE FOR AUTOMOTIVE ENGINEERING SUCCESSFULLY ORGANIZED THE 5TH INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON AUTOMOTIVE INNOVATION AND GREEN ENERGY VEHICLE 2022 (AiGEV 2022)
Centre for Automotive Engineering (Automotive Centre) successfully organized "The 5th International Conference on Automotive Innovation and Green Energy Vehicle 2022 (AiGEV 2022) on December 5, 2022 at the Holiday Villa Beach resort & Spa, Langkawi, Kedah. This conference involves academics, postgraduate students, professionals and industry members that played as a platform for researchers to present papers related to the latest technologies and further enhance research in the field of green technology engineering, transport, security, products and services.
The opening ceremony was completed by Ir. Dr. Zamri bin Mohamed as the Director of Automotive Centre, UMP. The Keynote Speakers who has been invited is Mr. Huzaimi Nor Bin Omar as the Chief Operating Officer for Green EV Charge Sdn Bhd and the Advisory Panel (Mobility) for Malaysia Green Technology Corporation as well as Associate Professor Ts. Dr. Hamzah Bin Ahmad from the Faculty of Electrical and Electronic Engineering Technology, Universiti Malaysia Pahang also functions as the Acting Chief Executive Officer, UMP Advanced.
International Conference AiGEV 2022 has involved a total of 61 participants from various universities, research centers and industries from local and abroad. Among the foreign participants involved are from Naresuan University, Thailand, Universiti Teknologi Brunei, Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University, Kashmir India and Meiji University, Tokyo Japan. While participants from industry are from the Malaysian Institute of Road Safety Research (MIROS) and Syarikat Motosikal dan Enjin Nasional Sdn. Bhd. (MODENAS).
A total of 10 participants were awarded as Best Paper Winners, namely participants from Heriot-Watt University, Universiti Teknikal Melaka (UTEM), Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM), Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM), Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM), Universiti Tun Hussein Onn Malaysia (UTHM) and Universiti Malaysia Pahang (UMP).
All accepted paper have been published in International Journal of Automotive and Mechanical Engineering (IJAME) and AIP Conference Proceedings (Volume 2998).
Automotive Centre hopes that by organizing this conference, Universiti Malaysia Pahang (UMP) will become a leader in research and innovation in the field of green technology engineering, and create a strong academic network among researchers in Malaysia and abroad, further becoming a technology transfer platform globally.
